iPhone guide to setup AOL mail

1 Open 'Settings', click on 'Passwords & accounts' and 'Add account'.

Click on your provider name if it's listed, otherwise click on 'Other'

2 Make sure 'Email' is checked and click 'Save'.

Your email account is now saved. In the next steps we check if all settings are correct.

3 Click on your newly created email address and choose 'Advanced'. Make sure that the following data is correct under 'Incoming server':

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 993

4 Go back to the previous screen and under 'Outgoing server' click on smtp.aol.com. Make sure the following information is correct:

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 465

I am not receiving any new emails and can’t send any! This just started about 4 days ago. I have an Apple 6SPlus iphone. I have tried to follow the instructions given but when I get to the mail it’s in 3 separate items not one! In other words I can’t choose mail is one calendars is one and contacts is one to choose from. I need my email to stay in touch with my attorney!!

I don’t want my next email msg opening automatically when I trash the one I’ve just finished reading. Though I have this set on my Mac laptop it doesn’t carry over to my iPhone. How do I change it?

I see my question asked several times concerning AOL mail on iPhone 6 but don't see answers. I have three, not one settings for Mail, Contacts, Calenders, not one. How do I resolve this dilemma?

"Scroll down and choose Mail, Contacts and Calendars" There's no such setting on my iPhone 6!! These are THREE SEPARATE ALTERNATIVES under Settings. And the "Mail" selection has NOTHING regarding accounts Idiotic.
