Lost email, tells me to enter password for the IMAP account “jones_e5@sky.com” when I enter password, tells me that it’s incorrect and tells me to enter username and password. Tried all sorts including changing password to no avail.
5 years agoMy emails on my I-Phone 7 have stopped working error messages Cannot get Mail the username or password for "imap.tools.sky.com" is incorrect. I have tried different emails and I have tried to reset my password I have also deleted the mail account off the phone now I still receive the message when trying to add as a new mail account I am still getting the same message. The Host name etc matches the details above,
6 years agoI closed my BT Account some time ago. But cannot to change the details as Adminestrator. Or anywhere else, therefore I am unable to access anything that requires an E Mail before I can see it

6 years agoI couldn’t receive or send emails on my iPhone so changed my password online and still telling me on my iPhone that the password or username is incorrect but it’s not because I can log in and out online?

6 years ago“CANNOT SEND MAIL” from my iPad. The further info provided is “the user name or password for SMTP:t.greig@sky.com@smtp_tools.sky.com” is incorrect”. Since the transfer to yahoo I have had problems and I would be grateful if an idiots guide to action required for adjustments to my iPad (recently installed with iOS 12)
