Outlook guide to setup Sky.com mail

1 Start Outlook and open 'Account Settings'.

Click on the file tab and in the 'Information' category click on 'Account Settings'

2 Create a new email account.

In the 'Email' tab, click 'New'

3 Enable 'Server Settings' and click Next.

Check 'Server settings'.

4 Congratulations, your account has been added!

Click on 'Test Account Settings'. If everything goes well, click on next and then on finish.

  • I am having problems with setting up sky e-mail on Outlook 2016. I have tried the settings above but it does not work - particularly with sending e-mails. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Just changed to Sky Broadband, and its smtp settings dont work using Windows Live mail, can recive OK but cany send under my virgin.net. Any help apprecited

  • i have almost set up for sky.com on outlook. It fails when it asks for my passwoed for the account. Problem is that my password is absolutely correct (spot on) - what oh what is happening?

  • Just remember in Outlook in the Advanced tab of the More Settings... menu to select SSL for each of the encrypted connections. In Windows 10 you also have the option of using the built in Mail app which I think automatically detects sky account settings given the email address and password for that account.

  • I am trying to set up sky email on Outlook in Windows 10. I have input the IMAP settings as shown on this page, but both outgoing and incoming are failing. Can you please assist
